What you get
Tap the tempo of whatever you are playing and it takes the number from your hand. The target is the whole pad, and the averaging tolerates a mistap or a skipped beat instead of lurching. Or type the BPM, or nudge it one at a time.
Every beat is placed on the audio render timeline from a fixed anchor and derived from its index, never added to the last one, so an hour-long run is as tight as the first bar. Change tempo mid-bar and the grid re-anchors with no doubled or swallowed beat.
2/4 through 12/8 with the downbeat accented so you always know where the bar starts, subdivisions on top, a choice of click sounds, and vibrate on beat when the room is too loud to hear one.
